Such change of name was a natural conclusion for the implementation period of common trademark and company insignia of the company group covering all the Baltic States. Bringing the business name of the parent company into accordance with the trademark further emphasises common principles of the entire Technobalt Group.

By now the public limited company established in 1994 has developed into a group with international sale chain and a domestic market covering all the Baltic States. The structure representing Technobalt trademark deals with sales and maintenance of industrial equipment and their accessories. Providing services to our clients who are mainly commercial producers, the product range of the companies of the group is related to the appliances transporting various materials. Two product divisions can be clearly defined:

·   Industrial hoses, pumps and their related accessories connected with handling liquids, gases and bulk;
·   Conveyor systems and related component range for handling solids.

The product range developed over the time is from the leading producers of their field in Europe but also in other countries of the world.

While supplying the components of the conveyor systems, including conveyor lines we opened a new market segment in the field of maintenance service. Being involved in the maintenance of the conveyor systems and the entire component range a possibility emerged at the end of 2000 to execute the pilot project of production of complex conveyors. On those basis we have opened a separate development direction in our activities. Tens of operating conveyors in different fields of industry and completed renovation projects are good reference for our work.

The consolidated sales volume of Technobalt Group was approximately 1.6 million EUR in 2003. To ensure stable supply for our clients the central warehouse and  management of purchase logistics are situated in Tallinn. The affiliates involved in Latvian and Lithuanian markets are situated in Riga and Klaipeda. Sales representations of Technobalt Eesti are in Tallinn and Tartu.

Development strategy of Technobalt Group is in the short run focused on one hand on the development of strong sales structure covering the Baltic market, and on the other hand on establishing our own production unit. While we see professional, advisory sales in the client-oriented development activities, flexible and consistent increase in the know-how in the co-operation with the suppliers as our strengths, we assess our competitiveness on the Baltic market as high. Knowledge and occasional experiences on Eastern market and real experience in international co-operation projects with the companies of  European Union in the fields of both production and maintenance service give a new dimension to our potential in relation to the clients as well as co-operation partners.
